Description

Hot air sterilizer SF75 is a medical-device unit with forced air circulation and a nominal volume of 74 l. Working temperatures extend from at least 10 °C above ambient to +250 °C, with a settable range of +20 °C to +250 °C. SingleDISPLAY operation, two grid shelves, a stainless steel door, an electronically adjustable exhaust flap (0 %–100 % in 10 % steps) and fan-speed control (0 %–100 % in 10 % steps) enable flexible process settings. An Ethernet interface supports readout of protocol data. Double overtemperature protection, an integrated data logger with storage capacity for at least ten years and setting of three calibration values on the ControlCOCKPIT are included, along with a factory calibration certificate for +160 °C. The structured stainless steel housing measures 585 × 944 × 514 mm; the stainless steel interior measures 400 × 560 × 330 mm. Electrical supply is 230 V, 50/60 Hz with a maximum power consumption of approximately 2500 W. Supplied as a complete sterilizer from manufacturer Memmert, the SF75 suits routine laboratory and medical hot-air sterilisation where documented thermal cycles and stainless-steel construction are required.

Questions about Hot air steriliser SF75, 74l, 20-250°C

What is this article?

Hot air steriliser SF75, 74l, 20-250°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Memmert for laboratory use. It sits in Autoclaves & sterilisers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

An autoclave sterilises with steam under pressure, typically 121 °C. A load that is wrapped wrong, or a liquid in a sealed full bottle, does not see that temperature, or it bursts. Chamber volume and the cycles it can run are the specification.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
