Description
HS 260 control S003 is a horizontal shaker with endpoint positioning and Swiss plug, intended for laboratory applications that need gentle sample mixing. The compact, flat design sits comfortably on standard laboratory benches. A maximum shaking weight of 7,5 kg allows use with many sample vessel sizes and shapes. Integrated endpoint positioning enables automated, robot-controlled sampling. Speed and timer are shown on a digital LED display and can be adjusted electronically for accurate control. The 20 mm shaking stroke supports even mixing, while the variable speed range of 10–300 rpm covers a broad set of applications. Timer function runs from 1 min to 99 h 59 min, with continuous operation also possible. An RS 232 interface provides external control and documentation through labworldsoft®. Numerous attachment combinations for almost all vessel forms and sizes are available; accessories are not part of the delivery and must be ordered separately. A special version with clockwise and counterclockwise rotation can be requested. Supplied by manufacturer IKA, this horizontal shaker suits routine and automated laboratory mixing tasks.

Questions about HS 260 control S003, Horizontal shaker with end point positioning with Swiss plu
What is this article?
HS 260 control S003, Horizontal shaker with end point positioning with Swiss plu is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Shakers, rockers & rotators, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
A shaker, rocker or rotator moves a rack, a plate or a bottle so the contents keep moving without a stirrer bar. Orbital, reciprocating and rocking motions are different. The platform, the load and the speed range are the specification.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
