IceSampler V4A is a specialised sampler for frozen, highly viscous and pasty media such as ice cream and similar substances. With a length of 1050 mm and a collection volume of 50 ml, it uses a collection cylinder of Ø 38 mm. The drill-shaped cutting edge screws itself into the frozen material when turned, allowing controlled penetration into the product. After sampling, the collection cylinder can be detached easily via a bayonet connection so the sample lies free and can be removed without difficulty. Made from stainless steel V4A (1.4404) and electropolished, this instrument from manufacturer Bürkle is sterilizable and supports simple cleaning between uses. The electropolished finish helps maintain hygienic surfaces and facilitates residue removal in laboratory and production settings.
