Description

ICP Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-98 is a ROTI®Star calibration standard containing 17 elements at 100 mg/l in 5 %. HNO3. The element suite comprises aluminium, boron, barium, calcium, cobalt, chromium, copper, iron, potassium, lithium, magnesium, manganese, sodium, nickel, lead, silicon and zinc, enabling simultaneous multi-element calibration for ICP-OES, ICP-MS and related atomic spectrometry methods used in water and environmental trace analysis. Physical data include a density of approximately 1,05 g/cm³ and a boiling point above 83 °C. This multi-element standard from manufacturer Carl ROTH supports laboratories performing elemental determinations within water analysis and broader trace-analysis workflows by ICP-OES, ICP-MS, AAS and IC. The ready-to-use formulation simplifies preparation of working standards while covering a practical set of major, minor and trace elements commonly required in analytical chemistry.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about Multi-Element ICP Standard Solution CR-98, 100 ml, 17 elements in 5 % HNO3

What is this article?

Multi-Element ICP Standard Solution CR-98, 100 ml, 17 elements in 5 % HNO3 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
