Description

ICP Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-37 ROTI®Star is a multi-element calibration standard prepared for atomic spectroscopy workflows, including ICP-OES and related ICP methods. It contains six elements—chromium, copper, nickel, manganese, antimony and zinc—each at 5000 mg/l in 5 % nitric acid, enabling simultaneous multi-metal reference measurements in a single matrix. Density is approximately 1,1 g/cm³ and the boiling point is about 100 °C, consistent with an aqueous nitric acid medium used in routine laboratory calibration. The preparation is supplied in a 100 ml HDPE bottle suited to analytical bench use and storage of acidified standards. Offered as the CR-37 ROTI®Star grade from manufacturer Carl ROTH, this solution supports quantitative elemental analysis where Cr, Cu, Ni, Mn, Sb and Zn must be determined together under controlled conditions. It fits spectroscopy and spectrometry applications that require multi-element standards for instrument calibration, method development and ongoing quality control in inorganic analytical laboratories working with nitric acid matrices.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about ICP Multi-Element Standard Solution, CR-37 ROTI®Star, 100 ml, HDPE

What is this article?

ICP Multi-Element Standard Solution, CR-37 ROTI®Star, 100 ml, HDPE is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
