Description
Insulation lid 200 L, Tmax. 200 °C is a thermal cover for 200–220 L drums that retains heat and shortens heating cycles in laboratory and process settings. The maximum permissible operating temperature is 200 °C. Its outer shell is made of PTFE-coated glass-silk fabric, combining chemical resistance with mechanical durability under repeated use. Two openings fitted with hook-and-loop (Velcro) fasteners allow filling or sampling without removing the lid, so the thermal barrier remains largely intact during operation. The lid is specified for use with drum heater WODTX201 and carries protection rating IP54. By limiting heat loss from the drum headspace, it supports more efficient temperature hold and faster warm-up of large liquid volumes. Supplied as a single piece from manufacturer Winkler, this accessory complements drum heating systems where controlled process temperatures up to 200 °C and practical access during heating are both required. It is suited to chemical, pharmaceutical and industrial laboratory workflows that rely on barrel-scale heating.

Questions about Insulating Lid 200L Tmax. 200°C
What is this article?
Insulating Lid 200L Tmax. 200°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Winkler for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
