Description
Portable turbidity meter, ISO 7027 compliant, 230 V is a high-precision mobile turbidimeter intended for low-range applications including drinking water. The infrared optical system uses an 860 nm IR LED with detectors for scattered and transmitted light, providing ratio measurement at 90° and 180° per ISO 7027 while limiting stray light and colour interference and reducing calibration frequency. Ranges span 0,00 to 9,99 FNU, 10,0 to 99,9 FNU and 100 to 1000 FNU with automatic selection, resolution down to 0,01 FNU, accuracy of ±2 % of reading +0,1 FNU and reproducibility of ±1 % of reading or 0,01 FNU. Up to four-point calibration, storage of 200 readings, GLP functions, tag identification and RS232/USB connectivity support documented workflows. Supplied by manufacturer Hanna Instruments complete with five capped cuvettes, turbidity standard kit, silicone oil, cleaning cloth, five i-Buttons with holder, batteries and AC adapter in a transport case, the instrument runs on four 1,5 V AA cells or mains adapter with auto-off after 15 minutes. Dimensions are 224 × 87 × 77 mm at 512 g, suited to field and laboratory turbidity monitoring.
This article is part of Dissolved oxygen & multiparameter meters, in pH & electrochemistry.

Questions about ISO turbidity portable meter, 230V
What is this article?
ISO turbidity portable meter, 230V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hanna Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Dissolved oxygen & multiparameter meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A dissolved-oxygen meter reads oxygen in a liquid, optically or with a Clark cell. A multiparameter meter adds pH, conductivity or both on one instrument. The sensor cap or the membrane is the consumable. A reading in air and a reading in water are different calibrations.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
