Description
IsoTherm-System starter set is a complete dry-cooling workstation for frozen samples in 1,5 mL and 2,0 mL reaction vessels. The set contains the IsoSafe insulating box, one IsoRack working rack, one white IsoPack (0 °C) and one blue IsoPack (−21 °C). Ideal for cooling, transporting and short-term storage of temperature-sensitive samples, the system uses dry incubation, which substantially lowers the contamination risk typical of conventional water-bath methods. Each rack holds up to 24 vessels, giving flexible capacity for routine laboratory workflows. The white IsoPack maintains 0 °C for as long as 6 hours; the blue IsoPack sustains −21 °C for up to 3 hours. Racks belonging to the IsoTherm-System® range from manufacturer Eppendorf are stackable, autoclavable and centrifugable in an MTP rotor. With a net weight of 1,080 kg, this starter package equips molecular-biology, clinical and research laboratories with a compact, ice-free sample-handling solution that protects sample integrity during preparation and transport without water contact.

Questions about IsoTherm-System (Starter Set)
What is this article?
IsoTherm-System (Starter Set) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Cryo boxes, racks & freezer storage, inside Cryogenics & cold storage, in Lab consumables.
A cryo box or a freezer rack is how vials are found again at −80 °C or in the vapour phase of nitrogen. The grid, 9×9 or 10×10, has to match the vials. A cardboard box and a polycarbonate box differ in whether they survive liquid nitrogen. The map of the box is part of the sample.
Cold storage slows chemistry and keeps cells, proteins and nucleic acids from falling apart. A cryogenic vial is made to survive liquid-nitrogen temperatures and to be sealed against the liquid. A box and a rack are how those vials are found again. The article is not part of free standard delivery when it must stay cold: cold-chain goods are never included in that free delivery. Biosafety of the material inside is summarised by the WHO laboratory biosafety topic. Reference lines are held by ATCC.
Which category should I open next?
