Description

Jumbo multi collector with separate chambers in aluminium/PTFE is a zone sampler for multi-point sampling through all layers of coarse-grained bulk goods. Separators prevent mixing of the sample material, so several point samples from different layers can be taken, analysed individually or combined into a mixed sample that reflects overall composition. Long collection lances with a 50 mm tube diameter and a particularly large chamber volume enable large sample quantities with large grain sizes while still keeping zones isolated. The sampler can be autoclaved and flame-treated to minimise contamination risk and may be used vertically or horizontally in containers, silos or heaps, giving flexible access across vessel types. From manufacturer Bürkle, this robust multi-chamber design supports quality control in food, pharmaceutical, chemical and building-materials industries, plus research, development and raw-material assessment where layer-specific or composite data are required. Close the handle clockwise for insertion, open anti-clockwise at depth to fill the chambers, close again for removal, then empty as required for targeted or mixed-sample work.

What is this article?

Jumbo sampler, closed chambers, Alu/PTFE, 150 cm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Other lab tools & accessories, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.

This shelf is the bench tools that do not belong to a narrower rack: odd holders, small aids, pieces that complete a setup. The useful check is what the tool touches, and whether that contact adds a contaminant.

The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
