Description
Jumbo collector with separate chambers, aluminium/PTFE, 250 cm, is a multi-zone sampling lance for representative sampling of coarse-grained bulk solids through all layers. Internal separators keep chamber contents apart, so several point samples can be taken from different depths and either analysed individually or combined into a composite sample that reflects overall composition. Long collection lances with a 50 mm tube diameter and a particularly large chamber volume allow substantial sample quantities even at large particle sizes. The zone collector can be autoclaved and flame-treated, helping reduce contamination risk during repeated use. From manufacturer Bürkle, the robust design supports vertical or horizontal insertion for flexible sampling from containers, silos or stockpiles. Operation is simple: turn the handle clockwise to close, insert to the target depth, open counterclockwise to fill the chambers, close again, withdraw, then empty the all-layer sample through the open inner tube into a suitable vessel. It is suited to quality control and quality management in food, pharmaceutical, chemical and building-materials industries, as well as research, development and raw-material processing where multi-point or mixed samples of large grains are required.

Questions about Jumbo sampler, closed chambers, Alu/PTFE, 250 cm
What is this article?
Jumbo sampler, closed chambers, Alu/PTFE, 250 cm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Other lab tools & accessories, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
This shelf is the bench tools that do not belong to a narrower rack: odd holders, small aids, pieces that complete a setup. The useful check is what the tool touches, and whether that contact adds a contaminant.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
