Description
Jumbo collector with separate chambers, aluminium/PTFE, 85 cm, is a multi-zone sampler for representative sampling of coarse-grained bulk solids through all layers. Separators keep the chambers isolated so several point samples from different depths can be analysed individually or combined into a composite sample that reflects overall composition. The long lance has a tube diameter of 50 mm and a large chamber volume, allowing substantial sample quantities even with large particle sizes. This robust zone collector from manufacturer Bürkle can be autoclaved and flame-treated to reduce contamination risk and may be used vertically or horizontally in containers, silos or heaps. It supports target-point or mixed sampling for quality control in food, pharmaceutical, chemical and building-materials industries, as well as research, development and raw-material processing. Operation is simple: turn the handle clockwise to close, insert into powder or granulate, open anticlockwise at the desired depth to fill the chambers, close again, withdraw, then empty the all-layer sample through the open inner tube into a suitable vessel. Supplied as 1 piece with a net weight of 2,2 kg for durable laboratory and industrial use.

Questions about Jumbo sampler, closed chambers, Alu/PTFE, 85 cm
What is this article?
Jumbo sampler, closed chambers, Alu/PTFE, 85 cm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Other lab tools & accessories, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
This shelf is the bench tools that do not belong to a narrower rack: odd holders, small aids, pieces that complete a setup. The useful check is what the tool touches, and whether that contact adds a contaminant.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
