Description
Laboratory stopper in natural rubber, Denog size 9 x 13 x 20 mm, is a compact bung for sealing vessels and lines handling sensitive liquids. The grey natural-rubber quality is sterilizable and suitable for food contact as well as delicate fluids. Shore hardness is approximately 40° or 50°, with temperature resistance from –30 °C to +80 °C. Dimensional tolerances follow DIN 7715 Part 2 M4. Optional bores, blind holes and combined drillings can be specified, and further sizes are available on request; DIN dimensions plus silicone and NBR stock grades are also offered, with CR, red natural rubber and Viton® fluoroelastomer available at short notice. Supplied in packs of 100 pieces from manufacturer Dinkelberg, these stoppers support laboratory sealing tasks where a food-compatible, sterilizable natural-rubber bung in a small Denog format is required. Consistent geometry and the stated hardness range help maintain a reliable fit across repeated handling and cleaning cycles in routine laboratory practice.

Questions about Laboratory plug, natural rubber, Denog-size 9 x 13 x 20 mm, 100pc/PAK
What is this article?
Laboratory plug, natural rubber, Denog-size 9 x 13 x 20 mm, 100pc/PAK is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Dinkelberg for laboratory use. It sits in Rubber & silicone stoppers, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.
A rubber or silicone stopper is pushed into a mouth. The size number corresponds to a top and bottom diameter. Silicone survives higher temperatures and more autoclave cycles. Natural rubber is attacked by oils and by some solvents.
A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
