Description
LabSen® 805 glass pH/temperature electrode is designed for fast, precise pH measurements in pure water matrices including distilled water, drinking water, RO water, surface water, well water, boiler water, rainwater and deionised water. Manufactured in Switzerland with high-grade materials and innovative sensor technology, it features an olive-shaped L-type membrane that responds rapidly even in low-ionic-strength solutions and at low temperatures. A long-life reference system provides stable readings and extended durability, while triple ceramic diaphragms ensure rapid electrolyte outflow for accurate results in pure water. An integrated temperature sensor supports automatic temperature compensation. The electrode measures 0–11 pH within a recommended operating range of 0–80 °C, uses gel KCl electrolyte and a lead-free glass shaft, and has dimensions of Ø12 × 130 mm with an 8-pin connector and Ø5 mm × 1 m cable. Compatible with Apera meters accepting an 8-pin connection (PH60, PH60-Z, PH400, PC400 and related models), this electrode from manufacturer APERA Instruments is maintained using 3M KCl storage solution.

Questions about LabSen®801 Professional Combination pH Electrode for Purified Water
What is this article?
LabSen®801 Professional Combination pH Electrode for Purified Water is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
Which category should I open next?
