Description

LAUDA Hydro H 8 is a laboratory water bath offering straightforward operation and clear process overview on a TFT display. Temperature setpoints and readouts are adjustable in 0,1 °C steps, while timer values are set in hours and minutes via a membrane keypad with clear symbols. Digital setpoint entry, switchable °C/°F display and a one-point temperature controller support routine heating tasks. Adjustable over- and under-temperature alarm thresholds up to ±10 K, together with optical and acoustic alarms for low water, temperature limits and sensor faults, enhance operational safety. Electronic monitoring of the temperature controller is integrated. Three application-specific timer functions are available. Bath body, cover frame, perforated tray and heater are stainless steel; the bath vessel includes a drain cock. A heat-insulating double-walled stainless-steel lid with inner curvature helps prevent condensate drip-back into vessels; lid and perforated tray are supplied as standard. Working temperature range is 25 to 100 °C with 0,1 ± K stability and maximum heating power of 1 kW. Useful bath size is 245 × 200 × 165 mm with 3,8 to 7,0 L volume. External dimensions are 340 × 395 × 275 mm and weight is 10 kg. Supply is 230 V; 50/60 Hz (Lauda).

What is this article?

LAUDA Hydro H 8 Water bath 230 V; 50/60 Hz is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Lauda for laboratory use. It sits in Water & oil baths, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A water bath surrounds a vessel with warm water. An oil bath reaches higher than water's boiling point. The tank volume and the maximum temperature are the specification. A cover and a level matter, because a dry bath element overheats.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
