Description
The LAUDA Microcool MC 1200 recirculating cooler 230 V; 50 Hz is a laboratory circulation chiller for reliable external cooling. Working temperature spans −10 … 40 °C with ±0,5 K constancy (DIN 12876) and ambient operation from 5 … 40 °C. Cooling capacity reaches 1,2 kW at 40 °C (water-glycol) and at 20 °C (ethanol), 1,05 kW at 10 °C, 0,75 kW at 0 °C and 0,4 kW at −10 °C (ethanol, 50 Hz). A single-line LED display presents actual or setpoint values; clear menu structure and simple three-button control operate a fully electronic continuous controller. Magnetically coupled block pump performance is max. 1,3 bar and 35 L/min at G 3/4'' external connections, with adjustable bypass, pump winding-temperature monitoring, illuminated fill-level display and under-level alarm. Minimum/maximum fill volume is 7–14 L; filling is from the top and draining from the rear. RS 232 interface, auto-start timer, auto-shut-down, air-cooled condenser and natural refrigerant R-290 enable operation with non-flammable liquids such as water or water/glycol. Unit size is 450 × 550 × 650 mm, net weight 63 kg and sound pressure 59 dB(A). Standard accessories are two 3/4'' hose olives with G3/4 union nuts. This model from manufacturer Lauda supports everyday laboratory recirculating cooling tasks.

Questions about LAUDA Microcool MC 1200 Circulation chiller 230 V; 50 Hz
What is this article?
LAUDA Microcool MC 1200 Circulation chiller 230 V; 50 Hz is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Lauda for laboratory use. It sits in Circulators, chillers & thermostats, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A circulator or thermostat holds a bath liquid at a set temperature and pumps it through a jacket. A chiller is the same idea aimed below ambient. The temperature range, the cooling power and the pump flow are the three numbers. The fluid has to match the range.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
