Description

The LAUDA PRO P 2 E is a heating circulation thermostat with modern microprocessor control and an integrated cooling coil for precise temperature control in laboratory applications. It offers a working temperature range of 80 to 250 °C, extendable to 20 to 250 °C with water cooling, and an operating temperature range of −30 to 250 °C. Temperature constancy is 0,05 K. Maximum heating power is 2,5 kW with a maximum power consumption of 2,7 kW. A bright, high-contrast graphical OLED display, cursor keys and softkeys, plus the EasyUse concept, support clear operation; a detachable console enables remote control. The insulated stainless-steel bath chamber includes overflow and drain cock, with a fill volume of 2,4 to 4,4 L for rapid temperature changes. The LAUDA Varioflex pump provides eight selectable power stages, with maximum pressure 0,7 bar, suction 0,4 bar and flow up to 22 L/min (pressure) or 20 L/min (suction). USB and Ethernet interfaces are standard, and further interface modules can be added. From manufacturer Lauda, the compact tower unit (250 × 365 × 425 mm, 17 kg) runs on 200–230 V; 50/60 Hz.

Questions about LAUDA PRO P 2 E Heating circulator 200-230 V; 50/60 Hz

What is this article?

LAUDA PRO P 2 E Heating circulator 200-230 V; 50/60 Hz is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Lauda for laboratory use. It sits in Circulators, chillers & thermostats, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A circulator or thermostat holds a bath liquid at a set temperature and pumps it through a jacket. A chiller is the same idea aimed below ambient. The temperature range, the cooling power and the pump flow are the three numbers. The fluid has to match the range.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
