The working temperature range is −86 to −50 °C, with temperature constancy of ±3 K and temperature homogeneity of 3 K at −86 °C. Usable volume is 205 L within interior dimensions of 790 × 520 × 500 mm; external dimensions are 960 × 790 × 1130 mm and net weight is 210 kg. A fully stainless-steel interior, densely laid cooling coil and vacuum insulation deliver high freezing speed and excellent temperature homogeneity and constancy throughout the usable space while maximising storage volume for a given footprint. The 4,3'' touchscreen control unit provides digital display and access to all safety-relevant setpoints, with adjustable over- and under-temperature alarms, password-protected user management, electronic alarm system and potential-free contact for in-house or central monitoring.
