LAUDA Versafreeze VF 70085 ultra-low temperature freezer is a laboratory upright freezer for long-term storage and quality assurance of organic substances and other materials, supplied with an integrated water-cooled condenser that reduces heat release into the room (on-site cooling-water supply required). It covers −86 to −50 °C with temperature constancy of ±2 K and homogeneity of 6 K at −86 °C, and provides a 731 L stainless-steel interior divided into seven compartments with individual insulated doors. Vacuum insulation maximises storage capacity inside external dimensions of 980 × 1179 × 1965 mm. A densely laid cooling coil delivers rapid freezing—from 20 °C to −86 °C in 7 h—and excellent chamber uniformity. The maintenance-free cascade refrigeration plant uses fully hermetic high-performance compressors and natural refrigerants R-290 and R-170. Comfortable 4,3'' touchscreen control, password-protected setpoints, electronic alarm with potential-free contact, battery-backed display and alarm, built-in data logger, Ethernet (IIoT ready) and RS 485 interfaces come from manufacturer Lauda.
