The pair is spectrally measured, assembled for equal transmission and marked with an engraved transmission code, supporting comparable conditions in dual-beam instruments. Path-length accuracy and parallelism from manufacturer Hellma promote continuously reproducible results. The cuvettes are thermally bonded rather than glued, which yields high resistance to temperature and chemicals and helps avoid unintended leakage.
