Macro cuvette type 110-QS is a precision cell for UV/Vis and near-infrared spectroscopy, fabricated from high-performance quartz glass with a usable wavelength range from 200 nm to 2500 nm. The optical path length is 50 mm and the nominal fill volume is 17 500 µl (0,0175 l); a PTFE stopper seals the sample compartment. Designed for all common spectrophotometers, the cuvette delivers path-length accuracy and window parallelism that support continuously reproducible readings. Thermally bonded construction from manufacturer Hellma replaces adhesive joints, providing strong resistance to temperature and chemicals and helping prevent unintended leakage of liquids. Selected high-performance quartz glasses yield excellent transmission above 82 %, enabling exact measurement results. Chamfered edges allow safe, comfortable handling and minimise the risk of chipping during routine laboratory use. The durable design can be cleaned and reused over long periods, offering a sustainable alternative to disposable cells. Manufacturing is carried out entirely in Germany under EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 and meets high optical standards. The quartz quality is identified by the registered trademark SUPRASIL®.
