Description
Magnetic stirrer with round hotplate, type LED 2002 LED, is a bench-top laboratory stirrer with heating for simultaneous mixing and temperature control of liquid samples. It features a modern housing with LED displays showing set and actual values for temperature and speed; each LED readout is 13 mm high. The aluminium die-cast enclosure and hotplate design largely prevent liquid ingress into the instrument interior. A maintenance-free brushless DC motor provides smooth soft-start, reducing the risk of the stir bar being thrown even when higher speeds are preselected. The aluminium hotplate with ceramic coating delivers efficient heat transfer and surface protection. An integrated PID control programme used with the Pt1000 sensor supports precise temperature and speed regulation. Hotplate diameter is 135 mm, heating power 600 W, speed range 50 to 1500 rpm, maximum stirring volume 5 litres and heating range from room temperature to 310 °C. An LED warning indicates hot surfaces above 50 °C. Dimensions are 150 × 250 × 85 mm (W × D × H); supply voltage 200 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz. This Winlab® unit from manufacturer Windaus is supplied as 1 piece for chemical, pharmaceutical and teaching laboratories.

Questions about Magnetic stirrer with round heating plate , type LED 2002 LED
What is this article?
Magnetic stirrer with round heating plate , type LED 2002 LED is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Windaus for laboratory use. It sits in Hot plates & heating blocks, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A hot plate heats a flat-bottom vessel from below, often with stirring. A heating block holds tubes in machined holes so each tube sees the same temperature. The block's hole diameter has to match the tube, or the heat never arrives.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
