Measuring pipette, soda-lime glass, Class AS, Type 2 with brown print is intended for precise measuring and transferring of liquids. The 0,5 ml nominal volume supports uptake of differing quantities and complete delivery of the entire contents. Produced from soda-lime glass (AR-Glas®), it is adjusted to deliver (Ex) at +20 °C and complies with Class AS accuracy including a 15-second waiting time. Volume tolerances follow the German Calibration Ordinance together with ISO and DIN. The brown scale carries main-point ring graduation with numbering from bottom to top (nominal volume at the top) for full delivery and includes a cotton-plug end. The brown graduation is fired-on, ensuring permanent durability and clear readability. Pipettes of Class AS that carry a batch number are supplied with a batch certificate recording the mean value of the batch, standard deviation and issue date; certificates are also accessible online. The four-digit batch code identifies production year and batch. Manufactured by Duran/DWK Life Sciences, the Type 2 design enables full-content delivery, rapid drain relative to Class A and reliable performance in volumetry and partial-volume liquid handling.
