Measuring pipette made of soda-lime glass, Class AS, Type 3, with durable blue print supports precise measuring and transfer of liquids in volumetric applications. The nominal volume is 50 ml, enabling uptake of varying liquid quantities and delivery in equal or differing partial volumes, or as a full discharge. Adjustment is to delivery (“Ex”) at + 20 °C reference temperature. Volume tolerances correspond to Class AS and to the error limits of the German verification ordinance as well as ISO and DIN. Waiting time is 15 seconds. Produced from soda-lime glass under the AR-Glas ® designation by manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, the pipette carries a blue scale with main-point ring graduation and numbering from top to bottom (zero at the top). The fired-in blue print is permanent and the line-graduated scale is easy to read. A cotton-plug end is included. Type 3 full-delivery design permits complete emptying of the contents. Units of accuracy class AS with a batch number are supplied with a batch certificate stating the batch mean, standard deviation and issue date; certificates can also be retrieved online. The four-digit batch code encodes production year and batch. Pack size is 6 pieces for laboratory volumetry and liquid handling.
