Description

Portable turbidity meter METRIA model M10 is a high-performance instrument for process control and field turbidity measurements in accordance with ISO 7027. This ratio-type device uses the nephelometric method at 90° and covers ranges of 0–1100 NTU/FNU, 0–275 EBC and 0–9999 ASBC. Accuracy is ±2 % from 0–500 NTU and ±3 % from 501–1100 NTU. Calibration is performed at two to five points with formazin standards (not included). From manufacturer Labbox, the meter features a backlit LCD with automatic shut-off, a measurement-stabilisation indicator and memory for 100 readings transferable via USB. Operation requires three 1,5 V AA batteries (not included). Delivery includes a carrying case, six sample vials, a five-point factory calibration certificate (0,02–10–200–500–1000 NTU) and a cleaning cloth, backed by a two-year warranty. Net weight is 1,500 kg. The single-unit package supports laboratories and field teams that need reliable portable turbidity control.

Questions about METRIA M10 portable turbidity meter (ISO 7027), 1pcs

What is this article?

METRIA M10 portable turbidity meter (ISO 7027), 1pcs is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Dissolved oxygen & multiparameter meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A dissolved-oxygen meter reads oxygen in a liquid, optically or with a Clark cell. A multiparameter meter adds pH, conductivity or both on one instrument. The sensor cap or the membrane is the consumable. A reading in air and a reading in water are different calibrations.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
