Description
Microplate 384/V-PP is a sterile 384-well microplate with clear wells, white frame and V-bottom geometry for efficient sample recovery and mixing. Made from highly transparent polypropylene (PP), it combines strong chemical resistance with mechanical durability and reliable performance from −86 °C to 100 °C. RecoverMax® well design minimises residual volume while supporting excellent mixing characteristics. Raised well rims and a smooth surface enable secure sealing, including heat sealing. The high-contrast OptiTrack® matrix alphanumeric labelling helps locate samples up to 30 % faster and reduces pipetting errors. g-Safe® construction provides outstanding centrifugation resistance up to 6000 × g. Plates are manufactured without mould-release agents, plasticisers or biocides that could interfere with bioassays, and are autoclavable at 121 °C for 20 min. These plates from manufacturer Eppendorf are supplied as 80 plates (5 bags × 16 plates), making them well suited to high-throughput screening, sample storage and routine laboratory workflows that demand sterility and robust polypropylene performance.

What is this article?
Microplate384/V-PP clear/white ster.80pl is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Microplates, inside Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes, in Lab consumables.
A microplate is an array of wells, commonly 96 or 384, in clear, black or white plastic. Clear is for absorbance. Black is for fluorescence. The well shape, flat or round bottom, and whether the plate is sterile and treated for cells, are the specification. Not every 96-well plate fits every reader.
A microplate is an array of wells so the same step can be done many times. A deep-well plate holds more volume. A PCR plate or a strip of tubes is thin-walled so the temperature of a cycler reaches the liquid quickly. A seal keeps the well from evaporating. The well number, the working volume and whether the plate is skirted for a robot are the choices. Diagnostic test systems are listed under ISO in vitro diagnostic systems. Methods are on PubMed.
