Microplate 96/U-PP clear/white is a 96-well polypropylene microplate for PCR workflows, combining clear wells with RecoverMax® well geometry on a white plate body. The round U-bottom design minimises residual volume and supports efficient mixing, while raised well rims and a smooth surface enable reliable sealing, including heat sealing. Made from exceptionally transparent polypropylene without mould-release agents, plasticisers or biocides that could affect bioassays, the plate offers high resistance to chemicals, mechanical stress and temperature extremes. These PCR clean plates from manufacturer Eppendorf feature g-Safe® centrifugation stability up to 6000 × g and the OptiTrack® matrix with high-contrast alphanumeric labelling for up to 30 % faster sample location and fewer pipetting errors. They operate reliably from −86 °C to 100 °C and are autoclavable at 121 °C for 20 min. Supplied as 80 plates (5 bags × 16 plates), they suit molecular biology and sample-handling applications that demand clear visibility, low residual volume and robust polypropylene performance.
