Description

minicaps® end-to-end 20 µl pipettes are disposable micro capillary pipettes intended for accurate end-to-end transfer of small liquid volumes in laboratory and IVD settings. Fabricated from DURAN® glass, each unit provides a nominal volume of 20 µl at a fixed length of 30 mm, enabling consistent capillary filling and delivery. The pipettes are non-heparinised single-use capillaries supplied with a declaration of conformity to DIN 12600, manufactured to ISO 7550 and CE-marked according to IVD Directive 98/79/EC. They are well suited to clinical chemistry, haematology support tasks, quality control and general analytical work where a defined 20 µl aliquot is required without anticoagulant coating. Capillary action simplifies sample uptake, while the standardised glass construction supports reproducible handling across batches. Available in packs of 1000 pieces from manufacturer Hirschmann, these end-to-end micro pipettes offer a practical format for routine micro-volume dosing of aqueous samples, reagents and biological fluids in controlled laboratory environments.

This article is part of Screw caps & closures, in Stoppers, caps & closures.

Questions about MINICAPS END-TO-END 20 µL, LENGTH 30 MM, CC

What is this article?

MINICAPS END-TO-END 20 µL, LENGTH 30 MM, CC is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hirschmann for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.

A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.

A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
