Fabricated from DURAN® glass with a length of 30–32 mm, they are non-heparinised and therefore suited to procedures that need an untreated internal glass surface. Production includes a declaration of conformity according to DIN 12600; the capillaries meet ISO 7550 and are CE marked under IVD Directive 98/79/EC. The defined 4 µl nominal volume enables reproducible capillary fill and transfer in clinical chemistry, haematology sample preparation, research microanalysis and related laboratory tasks.
