Description
Mobile vacuum pump stand for fine vacuum is a complete stainless-steel trolley system with a borosilicate glass 3.3 working section and KF connections for laboratory fine-vacuum applications. The unit integrates a vacuum assembly with rotary vane pump RZ 6, exhaust filter, corrugated hose, and VACUU·VIEW® extended gauge, plus a high-vacuum working section set up for grease-free operation. That section includes a PTFE shut-off valve (passage 0–15 mm), an additional PTFE venting valve (passage 0–6 mm), two cold traps with glass flanges KF DN 40, seals and aluminium clamps, and KF DN 16 small-flange ports with seals and clamps. Two Dewar vessels are lowerable and swing-out for easy filling. The stainless-steel cart runs on four swivel castors (two lockable) and has an intermediate shelf rated to 150 kg. Supplied as a ready-to-use mobile stand from manufacturer Rettberg, it supports fine-vacuum work down to a total ultimate pressure of 10⁻³ mbar (DIN 28432) in research and preparative laboratories. Delivery is by freight forwarding.

Questions about Mobile vacuum pump stand for fine vacuum
What is this article?
Mobile vacuum pump stand for fine vacuum is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Rettberg for laboratory use. It sits in Vacuum pumps, inside Pumps, vacuum & evaporation, in Lab instruments.
A laboratory vacuum pump lowers pressure for filtration or evaporation. A diaphragm pump tolerates solvent vapour better than an oil-sealed rotary vane pump, and it reaches a milder vacuum. The ultimate vacuum and the flow, and whether the wetted path survives the solvent, are the choices.
A vacuum pump lowers the pressure above a liquid so it boils at a lower temperature. That is the point of a rotary evaporator: solvent leaves a sample without cooking it. A diaphragm pump or a rotary-vane pump is chosen by the vacuum it reaches and by whether solvent vapour will destroy it. A peristaltic pump moves liquid by squeezing a tube, so the liquid touches only the tube. A barrel pump transfers a larger volume from a drum. The glassware on the evaporator is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Solvent identity is on PubChem.
