Description

Nalgene™ amber HDPE narrow-mouth bottles in lab quality are intended for storing, shipping and packaging light-sensitive liquids. Fabricated from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the round amber bottles provide excellent chemical resistance to most acids, bases and alcohols while limiting light transmission. Nominal capacity is 1 l (32 oz), with a narrow-mouth design and a metric neck inner diameter of 27 mm. Each bottle is supplied with an amber polypropylene screw closure, size 38–430 mm, without liner; dispensing through the closure is not provided. The bottles meet the light-transmission requirements of the US Pharmacopeia 23. Approximate height is 8,5 in and width 3,6 in. Available as a case of 24 (6 per pack), these lab-quality containers from Thermo Scientific - Laboratory Plastics support routine laboratory handling of light-sensitive reagents and samples where HDPE chemical compatibility and a secure screw-cap seal are required. The amber body and matching closure colour help protect contents during storage and transport in research and industrial environments.
