Description

Nalgene™ amber HDPE narrow-mouth bottles in lab quality are designed for storing, shipping and packaging light-sensitive liquids in small volumes. Made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), these round amber bottles offer excellent chemical resistance to most acids, bases and alcohols. Nominal capacity is 8 ml (0,25 oz), with a narrow-mouth opening and a metric neck inner diameter of 14 mm. Each unit includes an amber polypropylene screw closure, 20 mm, without liner, and is not intended for dispensing through the cap. The bottles fulfil the light-transmission provisions of the US Pharmacopeia 23. Approximate height is 1,77 in. Supplied as a case of 72 (12 per pack), these compact lab-quality bottles from Thermo Scientific - Laboratory Plastics suit sample aliquots, reagents and other light-sensitive liquids where HDPE compatibility and a reliable screw seal matter. The amber HDPE construction supports everyday laboratory storage and transport of small liquid volumes under controlled light exposure.
