Description

Nalgene™ rectangular amber HDPE bottles are space-saving wide-mouth containers designed to protect light-sensitive samples and dry materials from light exposure. With a nominal volume of 1 l (32 oz.), durable high-density polyethylene walls and a generous opening support straightforward filling and handling of laboratory contents. The amber coloration and rectangular form help organise storage while meeting the light-transmission requirements of the US Pharmacopeia 23. Each bottle is supplied with a brown polypropylene screw closure (53 mm), without liner, and features a metric neck inner diameter of 44 mm. Height is approximately 7 in. These wide-mouth bottles from manufacturer Thermo Scientific - Laboratory Plastics are non-graduated and are not intended for dispensing through the closure. They are packed 6 per pack and 24 per case, making them practical for routine chemical and sample storage where light protection and compact footprint matter. Suitable for general laboratory use with light-sensitive liquids or solids requiring a robust HDPE vessel.
