Description

Nalgene™ square wide-mouth bottles (PP) are robust laboratory containers made from polypropylene copolymer (PPCO) for storage, handling and short-term transport of reagents and samples. The wide mouth eases cleaning, filling and removal of contents, while the square profile aids stable standing and compact placement in storage systems. This variant offers a nominal volume of 500 ml in a natural translucent finish that permits rapid visual checks. Manufacturer data specify a neck inner diameter of 43 mm, a height of 146 mm and a 53 mm polypropylene screw closure without liner; the closure is included and shares the natural translucent appearance. Bottles are autoclavable and stated to meet USP Class VI and FDA 21 CFR requirements for laboratory plastics. These wide-mouth square bottles from Thermo Scientific Nalgene fit chemical bottle and screw-closure bottle workflows in analytical, research and industrial laboratories. Pack configuration is 12 pieces per pack and 48 pieces per carton for practical bulk supply.

A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
