Description

Nalgene™ Super Versi-Dry™ absorbent laboratory paper is a durable surface-protection material for laboratory benches, trays and preparation areas. It combines a highly absorbent working face with a polyethylene support fabric on the reverse, giving controlled liquid uptake together with a waterproof barrier. Rated absorption reaches 1050 ml/m², supporting reliable containment of spills and drips during routine wet work. The sheet remains non-slip and chemically resistant in everyday laboratory use, helping keep work surfaces stable and easier to maintain. Supplied as a roll dispenser pack measuring 20 in. by 250 ft, the paper can be cut to the length needed for individual stations or larger bench runs. This Thermo Scientific laboratory plastics product is intended for general surface protection in research, quality-control and teaching laboratories where absorbent, waterproof underlays are required. Pack configuration is one roll per unit, providing extended coverage from a single dispenser format suited to continuous laboratory workflows.

Questions about Nalgene™ Super Versi-Dry™ Surface Protectors

What is this article?

Nalgene™ Super Versi-Dry™ Surface Protectors is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Thermo Scientific - Laboratory Plastics for laboratory use. It sits in Plastic bottles (narrow & wide mouth), inside Bottles & containers, in Labware.

A plastic bottle is polyethylene, polypropylene or a fluoropolymer, narrow-mouth for pouring or wide-mouth for powders. It is the choice when the bottle must not shatter, and it is the wrong choice for solvents that swell the plastic.

A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
