Description

Nalgene™ Unitary™ LDPE wash bottles 125 ml are translucent low-density polyethylene wash bottles designed for convenient dispensing without tipping or shaking. The unitary construction integrates bottle and delivery tube, while the wide mouth allows faster, easier filling. Nominal capacity is 0,125 l (4 oz); the cylindrical bottle features a 24 mm polypropylene screw closure and is not graduated. Height is approximately 4,7 in. These bottles from manufacturer Thermo Scientific – Laboratory Plastics are supplied for laboratory rinsing, reagent dispensing and general wet-chemistry work. The flexible LDPE body and unitary tip support controlled delivery of aqueous solutions and many common laboratory liquids. Ideal for routine bench use where a wide-mouth, one-piece wash bottle improves handling speed and reduces spillage risk during filling and dispensing.

Questions about Nalgene™ Unitary™ LDPE Wash Bottles

What is this article?

Nalgene™ Unitary™ LDPE Wash Bottles is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Thermo Scientific - Laboratory Plastics for laboratory use. It sits in Wash bottles, inside Bottles & containers, in Labware.

A wash bottle is a squeeze bottle with a bent delivery tube, used to rinse a precipitate or a electrode with a small directed stream. The liquid inside is usually water or a solvent, and the bottle has to tolerate that liquid.

A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
