Description

neochrom® PE caps ND11 with hole are hard white polyethylene snap-ring closures for chromatography vials. Each cap has a 6 mm centre opening and is fitted with a white silicone / blue PTFE septum that is cross-slit to ease needle entry. These coloured PE snap-ring caps ND11 are positioned as a standard closure option for GC and HPLC work where controlled sample access is required. In the silicone/PTFE configuration the assembly is temperature-resistant from −60 °C to +200 °C and is intended for single-injection use, with a stated thickness of 1,0 mm. The hard white PE body gives a firm snap fit on matching ND11 vials, while the PTFE face of the septum limits unwanted analyte interaction. Cross-slit geometry supports consistent penetration and practical resealing after injection. Pack size is 100 pieces. These neochrom® ND11 snap-ring caps from manufacturer neolab - Labor suit routine analytical laboratories that need a defined silicone white/PTFE blue barrier on a hard PE shell with a 6 mm hole for autosampler or manual sampling workflows.

Questions about neochrom® PE caps ND11 with hole, white, hard, silicone white/PTFE blue, cross-slit

What is this article?

neochrom® PE caps ND11 with hole, white, hard, silicone white/PTFE blue, cross-slit is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Vial caps & septa, inside Vials, caps & septa, in Chromatography equipment.

A vial cap and a septum have to match the vial neck: crimp, screw or snap, and the diameter. The septum material, PTFE/silicone or rubber, decides chemical resistance and how many times a needle can pierce it. A septum that sheds into the solvent becomes ghost peaks.

An autosampler vial is the small closed bottle a chromatograph picks up. The neck is crimp, screw or snap, and the cap and the septum have to be that neck. The septum is the part the needle pierces. A soft septum reseals. A septum that is wrong for the solvent swells or sheds particles into the sample. Inserts reduce the volume when the sample is scarce. The separation they feed is described with IUPAC names and PubChem data.
