Description

neochrom® UltraBond screw caps ND24 closed unite a white polypropylene screw cap and a silicone natural/PTFE beige septum as one inseparable UltraBond unit, preventing the septum from being dislodged into the bottle. Caps use a 24-400 thread in a fully closed design without a centre hole, suited to storage and transport where needle access is not needed. The EPA-quality silicone/PTFE septum withstands −60 °C to +200 °C, measures 3,2 mm thick, and has a hardness of 45° Shore A; it is specified for single-injection use if later pierced. Bonded construction improves seal reliability and reduces handling errors in chromatography and environmental laboratories. Pack size is 100 pieces per pack for routine stocking. These neochrom® UltraBond closures from manufacturer neolab - Labor fit ND24 neck finishes used in sample preparation and archival sealing. Natural silicone with beige PTFE facing offers a practical balance of inertness and resealing behaviour for common laboratory matrices. Choose the closed UltraBond variant when a fixed septum and solid top are preferred over open-hole caps.

Questions about neochrom® UltraBond Schraubkappen ND24 geschl., Silikon natur/PTFE beige, 100 St

What is this article?

neochrom® UltraBond Schraubkappen ND24 geschl., Silikon natur/PTFE beige, 100 St is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.

A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.

A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
