Description
ORP60-E electrode is the replacement sensor for the ORP60 Premium ORP pocket tester and is also compatible with the PH60, PH60S and PH60F meters. It incorporates a platinum redox sensor with an integrated temperature sensor and is intended for ORP measurement in general aqueous solution testing. The electrode uses a single ceramic diaphragm, platinum sensor type, Ag/AgCl reference and gel KCl electrolyte. ORP measuring range is −1000 to 1000 mV; working temperature spans 0 to 50 °C with a 30 kΩ thermistor. The polycarbonate housing measures 75 × 35 × 35 mm and the unit weighs 40 g. A six-month manufacturer warranty from APERA Instruments covers the electrode. Compact dimensions and tool-compatible design support straightforward exchange for laboratory and field redox potential determinations in water and process solutions.
This article is part of Dissolved oxygen & multiparameter meters, in pH & electrochemistry.

Questions about ORP60-E Replacement Probe for ORP60 Pocket ORP Tester
What is this article?
ORP60-E Replacement Probe for ORP60 Pocket ORP Tester is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Dissolved oxygen & multiparameter meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A dissolved-oxygen meter reads oxygen in a liquid, optically or with a Clark cell. A multiparameter meter adds pH, conductivity or both on one instrument. The sensor cap or the membrane is the consumable. A reading in air and a reading in water are different calibrations.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
