Owl™ JGC Gel Casting Systems - 14 cm are vertical protein gel casters that enable faster casting of polyacrylamide gels through a distinctive pouch-based method. The pouch collects excess polyacrylamide and seals the bottom of the gel, removing any need for tape or bottom spacers. Gels can be stored without dehydration by adding buffer and heat sealing. The system casts from one to four gels at a time. Few moving parts support outstanding durability and an extra-long service life. Gel length is 14 cm and gel width is 16 cm; overall depth is 17 cm. Designed for use with the Owl™ JGC Gel Casting System (compatible reference 09-518-157C), this caster type is supplied complete with casting stand, blocking plate, three-point leveling base, spacer placer and 25 gel pouches. Gel plates and combs are sold separately.
