Automatic size recognition is performed by HandyStep® touch, HandyStep® electronic, Gilson® Repetman® and Rainin™ AutoRep E systems. The tips are also compatible with HandyStep® S, HandyStep®, Rainin AutoRep™ S, Rainin AutoRep™ M, Eppendorf® Multipette® 4780 and Eppendorf® EDOS® 5221. PD-Tips II are not autoclavable, while the adapters remain autoclavable.
