Description
PH60-MS pH meter set combines the portable professional PH60 meter with the LabSen 246-5 ATC semi-micro pH electrode for accurate measurement of small-volume samples and solutions in test tubes. Supplied by manufacturer APERA Instruments, the kit supports laboratory-quality pH work with automatic 1- to 3-point calibration, automatic temperature compensation and a Heads-Up function. The IP67 housing is waterproof, dustproof and buoyant. Meter pH range extends from –2,00 to 16,00 with 0,01 resolution and ±0,01 pH accuracy; ORP covers ±1000 mV. Temperature range is 0 to 50 °C. The LabSen 246-5 semi-micro electrode measures 0–14 pH at 0–100 °C, uses an S-type hemispherical membrane, ceramic junction, long-life reference and gel KCl electrolyte in a lead-free glass body (Ø12 × 120 mm, 8-pin cable). The complete set contains the PH60 meter, LabSen 246-5 electrode, ready-to-use calibration solutions (pH 4,00; 7,00; 10,01, 50 ml each), three calibration vials, 3M KCl storage solution, CalBox and carrying case. Power is supplied by four AAA batteries for up to 1000 hours of operation. Pack size is one complete set.

Questions about PH60 Premium pH pocket meter
What is this article?
PH60 Premium pH pocket meter is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A pH meter reads the electrode and displays pH, after calibration with at least two buffers. A meter that cannot be calibrated is a voltmeter. Resolution to 0.001 is not the same as accuracy. Portable and benchtop meters differ in the electrodes they accept and in the data they store.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
