PharmaPicker with collection chamber for 0,1–1,2 ml is a precision sampler for taking very small quantities of highly potent, expensive or active powders. Sample volumes from 0,1 ml to 2,5 ml are achieved by exchanging volume tips; this version is fitted for the 0,1–1,2 ml collection chamber range, with the alternative 1,25–2,5 ml chamber available separately. The instrument is 60 cm long and can be extended several times with 50 cm or 100 cm rods up to a maximum length of 3,50 m. Constructed from electropolished stainless steel V4A, it is inserted into the product, whereupon the sliding sleeve closes the collection chamber automatically. At the sampling point a slight withdrawal opens the chamber so the desired volume is collected; the unit is then fully withdrawn, the chamber removed and the sample emptied directly into the analysis vessel. From manufacturer Bürkle, this PharmaPicker supports controlled, low-volume powder sampling in pharmaceutical and laboratory applications where only minimal material should be taken.
