Description
Pipette holder housing is a replacement housing component for selected pipetus® pipette controllers used in laboratory liquid handling. It is intended for pipetus® akku units manufactured before May 1998 and for pipetus® standard models with year of manufacture up to 2004, restoring or completing the holder assembly for these earlier instrument generations. Supplied as a single piece, the housing contributes to secure, upright placement of the controller between pipetting steps and helps maintain an orderly bench. Net weight is 0,013 kg and gross weight 0,038 kg; packaging measures 0,12 m depth, 0,08 m width and 0,05 m height. The registered pipetus® mark links the part to the corresponding controller family. Originating from Germany and offered by manufacturer Hirschmann, this housing supports laboratories that continue to operate legacy pipetus® systems in analytical, clinical and teaching environments where reliable mechanical support for the controller remains important.

Questions about PIPETHOLDER-CASE
What is this article?
PIPETHOLDER-CASE is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hirschmann for laboratory use. It sits in Hose connectors, adapters & fittings, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.
A hose connector or adapter joins two lines, or steps one bore down to another. The barb diameter has to match the tube, and the thread has to match the stopcock or the bottle. Most leaks are a mismatch here, not a hole in the tube.
Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
