Portable precision balance Series HCB M, 1000 g is a stackable laboratory balance intended for weighing, percentage calculation, piece counting, underfloor weighing and weight totalisation at higher capacity. Dual USB and RS-232 interfaces support connection to PCs and printers. The compact form factor permits stacking of several units for efficient storage. ShockProtect™ overload protection allows loads up to 200 kg without harming the weighing mechanism. Automatic internal calibration keeps results consistent, and the instrument can be secured with a chain and Kensington™ lock. An internal rechargeable battery with automatic power-off extends cordless operation, and a removable draft shield is included. Outer dimensions measure 170 × 245 × 80 mm. Delivered with a handbook from manufacturer Labbox, the balance runs on 200–240 V / 50–60 Hz and is covered by a three-year warranty. An optional manufacturer calibration certificate (BAAC-CAL-001) can be ordered together with the scale; expected delivery time is 10 to 20 days.
