Description
Power controller PILZ® series WRT00117 is a ready-to-plug mechanical power controller for laboratory heating loads, using a multipole plug on the mains side and a multipole coupling on the consumer side. It runs on 230 VAC at a rated frequency of 50 Hz, with a rated switching power of 2300 W and a rated current of 10 A for resistive loads. Continuously variable output from 0–100 % is set by a bimetal-based mechanical controller; a signal lamp indicates the switching state. The housing is moulded from impact-resistant polystyrene and measures 120 × 56 × 57 mm (W × H × D), giving a compact footprint beside the heated apparatus. Robust switching mechanics support everyday bench use with heating mantles and similar resistive devices. This WRT-series unit from manufacturer Winkler provides simple, stepless power adjustment without complex electronics, making it a practical accessory for temperature-critical heating setups in chemical and analytical laboratories that require clear on-state indication and multipole connectivity at 230 V.

Questions about Power selector PILZ® series WRT00117, 230V multi-pole plug-in system
What is this article?
Power selector PILZ® series WRT00117, 230V multi-pole plug-in system is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Winkler for laboratory use. It sits in Heating mantles, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A heating mantle cups a round-bottom flask so the heat meets the glass without a bare flame. The flask volume the mantle was knitted for is the specification. A 1 L mantle under a 250 mL flask heats the air, not the liquid.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
