Description
Precision balance Radwag WLC series with external calibration and 120 kg capacity is designed for fast, precise weighing under laboratory and industrial conditions. The instrument combines mains operation with an internal rechargeable battery, an RS-232 interface, a stainless steel weighing pan and a backlit LCD display. Application modes include piece counting, plus/minus checkweighing, percentage weighing, underhook weighing and impact testing. External and internal calibration versions are available in the WLC line; this model is the external-calibration variant. Housing dimensions depend on the pan size and are stated as 244 × 174 × 88 mm for 128 × 128 mm and 195 × 195 mm pans, 361 × 315 × 87 mm for 300 × 300 mm pans, and 502 × 480 × 103 mm for 400 × 500 mm pans. Supplied from manufacturer Labbox as a RADWAG-type unit, the balance is delivered with a short manual, warranty card, quality test report and declaration of conformity. Power requirement is 100–240 V / 50–60 Hz, warranty is 2 years, and typical delivery time is 10–20 days. Net weight is 18,000 kg.

Questions about Precision balance RADWAG series WLC, external calibration, 120 kg, EU plug
What is this article?
Precision balance RADWAG series WLC, external calibration, 120 kg, EU plug is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Precision balances, inside Balances & scales, in Lab instruments.
A precision balance reads more coarsely than an analytical balance, often 1 mg or 10 mg, and it takes a heavier pan load. It is the balance for preparing bulk reagents. Draft, level and a warm-up still move the last digit.
A balance compares a mass with a standard. An analytical balance reads to 0.1 mg or finer and needs a draft shield and a stable bench. A precision balance is coarser and faster. A platform scale takes a heavier load. The reading is only as good as the calibration chain back to the kilogram, which is why test weights and a certificate exist. A moisture analyser is a balance with a heater: it records the loss of mass as water leaves. The unit of mass is kept by the BIPM, compared across Europe by EURAMET, and accredited by BELAC. NIST publishes the same measurement foundations.
