Description
Protegra CS PRO RO EDI 750 is a modular reverse osmosis system with continuous electrodeionisation (CEDI) that delivers pure water at up to 750 l/h at 15 °C with a typical conductivity below 0,07 µS/cm from softened or hardness-stabilised feed water. Energy-efficient polyamide/polysulfone RO modules provide high inorganic rejection and permeate production while reducing energy demand and water loss. An Ionpure CEDI cell removes residual salts without exhausting, and automatic flushing before standby limits ion build-up on the membranes to support longer module life. The cabinet system from manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies includes a front-mounted 7'' touch panel for multilingual display of system status, feed, permeate and pure-water conductivity, volumetric flows and alarms, together with USB and microSD interfaces. Microprocessor control ensures automatic operation with individually adjustable conductivity and flow limits. Removable front and side panels give straightforward service access in a low-maintenance design suited to laboratory and industrial deionised-water applications. Feed water may have conductivity up to 1400 µS/cm at 2,5–6,0 bar and 5–30 °C; yield is up to 50–80 %. Net weight is 275 kg with dimensions 650 × 665 × 1795 mm.

Questions about Protegra CS PRO RO EDI 750 - Reverse Osmosis with Ionpure EDI, 750 l/h
What is this article?
Protegra CS PRO RO EDI 750 - Reverse Osmosis with Ionpure EDI, 750 l/h is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrapure & pure water systems, inside Water purification, in Lab instruments.
A pure-water system, often by reverse osmosis and deionisation, feeds the laboratory. An ultrapure polisher takes that water to the resistivity and organic levels HPLC or cell culture ask for. Production rate and the feed water it expects are the specification. The system is not a cooler.
Laboratory water is a reagent. Tap water carries ions, organics and microbes that become part of every result they touch. A pure-water system takes most of them out. An ultrapure system, often a polisher after a first stage, is what HPLC, cell culture and trace analysis ask for. Resistivity, total organic carbon and endotoxin are different claims. A cartridge is spent when the number drifts, not when the calendar says so. The measurement of those impurities sits with NIST and the BIPM.
