Description

Pump tubing 3×1 mm with 3 stoppers is a silicone hose designed for peristaltic pumps fitted with heads DG6-1 through DG6-12. It features an inner diameter of 3 mm, a wall thickness of 1 mm and an outer diameter of 5 mm, with an overall length of 1000 mm (1 m). Three stoppers are moulded onto the tube, enabling two discrete positions for pump-head mounting and thereby offering flexible routing in multi-line laboratory setups. Produced in transparent silicone by Landgraf HLL, the tubing is odourless and non-toxic, and it withstands autoclaving for routine sterilisation. Shore A hardness of 50 ensures the elastic recovery required for reliable peristaltic action without excessive permanent set. The combination of chemical inertness, thermal resistance and defined geometry makes this hose suitable for continuous liquid metering and transfer in analytical and process laboratories. Pack size is 6 pieces, supporting spare stock or parallel channel configurations.

This article is part of Silicone tubing, in Tubing, hoses & fittings.

Questions about Pump hose, 3*1 mm with 3 stoppers, silicone, 1 m

What is this article?

Pump hose, 3*1 mm with 3 stoppers, silicone, 1 m is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Landgraf HLL for laboratory use. It sits in Silicone tubing, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

Silicone tubing stays flexible across a wide temperature range and survives repeated autoclaving, which is why peristaltic pumps and media lines use it. It is not the choice for strong solvents, which migrate into the wall.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
