Description
Personal protection adapter KM-PSA16 is a safety accessory for laboratory heating mantles. When a residual-current circuit breaker (RCD/FI) is not present in the electrical installation, this adapter is strongly recommended to protect operators during mantle operation. It inserts easily between the heating mantle and the mains socket, adding residual-current protection without complex wiring. Specified performance includes a trip current greater than 30 mA, a trip time below 30 ms, a maximum load of 3600 W (16 A), protection class IP40 and a rated voltage of 230 V AC. The unit is GS-tested for use in controlled laboratory environments. Manufacturer ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik states that the KM-PSA16 is already included with heating mantles as standard supply, while remaining relevant as a standalone accessory for replacement, spare or additional workstations. Compact plug-in design makes deployment simple at the bench. Suitable for research, teaching and industrial laboratories that run electrically heated mantles and require dependable personal protection at the point of use.

Questions about RCD (residual current detection) adapter KM-PSA16
What is this article?
RCD (residual current detection) adapter KM-PSA16 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik for laboratory use. It sits in Other lab tools & accessories, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
This shelf is the bench tools that do not belong to a narrower rack: odd holders, small aids, pieces that complete a setup. The useful check is what the tool touches, and whether that contact adds a contaminant.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
