RCT basic Synthesis Solution 1000 S002 is a complete magnetic stirrer with heating system for safe synthesis in 1000 ml round-bottom flasks. Dedicated synthesis blocks substantially reduce the hazard potential compared with conventional oil baths, simplify handling and cleaning of the flasks, and help lower operating costs. The ready-to-use package from manufacturer IKA contains every component required for synthesis operation: a flask carrier for 1000 ml round-bottom flasks, a stand rod, two cross sleeves, a universal clamp for secure flask fixation, a holding rod for temperature-sensor positioning, and elliptical magnetic stirring bars that conform to the flask geometry. The solid anodised aluminium synthesis attachment withstands temperatures up to 300 °C. An optional additional stand rod can be mounted on the second receptacle of the RCT basic unit to secure a reflux condenser. Fitted with a UK plug, this system solution supports controlled stirring and heating workflows in the laboratory while improving safety and ease of use versus traditional oil-bath methods.
